The object of this article, thanks to the study of some cases in the latest Spanish theatre, is the analysis of some metadramatic techniques which can be defined as mediation functions of the discourse of and on memory, and which allow to include these texts in the dramaturgical typology of the theatre of memory. Not mere perspective games committed to a relativist vision of the past, such techniques meet the need for approaching topics that would exceed the limits of representation and any pretended objectivist or universal focus.
