Centaurea inexpugnabilis, a new species from section Acrocentron for the Iberian flora.— A new species for the genus Centaurea L. (sect. Acrocentron, Asteraceae) is described: C. inexpugnabilis, sp. nov. This plant has been found in the Mallos de Riglos (Riglos, Huesca, Spain), and its distribution is currently limited to the northeastern of the Iberian Peninsula. A description and diagnosis, iconography and several tables showing the main diagnostic characters to differentiate it from its related species is reported.

Abstract
