Dom Deschamps and the «Cry of the truth». The cleaning of language between anthropology and politics. This article examines the concept of the “cry of truth” as a means of drawing attention to the role played by language in Dom Deschamps´ system, to his view of languages´ metaphysical and anthropological presuppositions and to his view of languages´ political complexities. It first points out the salient features of Deschamps´ materialism, the rejection of anthropocentrism to which this materialism leads and the critique of culture connected to this refusal. Starting from this assumptions, it shows how the “dialectical” nature of the state of laws, a state in which the socialization of men develops into a contradictory form of separation and isolation, allows our languages to become the place where the “cry of truth” simultaneously resonates and hides itself.

Abstract
Dom Deschamps and the «Cry of the truth». The cleaning of language between anthropology and politics. This article examines the concept of the “cry of truth” as a means of drawing attention to the role played by language in Dom Deschamps´ system, to his view of languages´ metaphysical and anthropological presuppositions and to his view of languages´ political complexities. It first points out the salient features of Deschamps´ materialism, the rejection of anthropocentrism to which this materialism leads and the critique of culture connected to this refusal. Starting from this assumptions, it shows how the “dialectical” nature of the state of laws, a state in which the socialization of men develops into a contradictory form of separation and isolation, allows our languages to become the place where the “cry of truth” simultaneously resonates and hides itself.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
