The three of them most qualified are "urban movies": "La La Land" by Damien Chazelle - treats of Los Angeles - obtained 6 Oscars out 14 nominationa; "Manchester-by-the-Sea" by Kenneth Lonergan - treats the same town - obtained 2 statues out 6 nominations; "Moonlight" by Barry Jenkins - treats of Maiami - obtained 3 Oacars out 6.
Alla vigilia dell’annuale premiazione all’89mo Academy Awards Oscar, sono stata a vedere i tre film maggiormente quotati per ricevere gli ambiti premi e che narrano tre realtà urbane: il tanto celebrato La La Land di Damien Chazelle (ha ottenuto sei statuette su quattordici nominations), il più discreto Manchester-by-the-Sea di Kenneth Lonergan (ne ha ottenute due su sei) e il drammatico Moonlight (ne ha ricevute tre su sei) di Barry Jenkins, storia di un ragazzo nero e gay cresciuto nel ghetto di Miami.
