The paper subject focuses on the internal structure of the Qur'anic text, which has been traditionally regarded as lacking of inconsistent by studies based on classical rhetorics, but which is read according to specific rhetoric principles, based on the internal similarity of the text, by both the Arab-Islamic tradition and a more recent research trend within Islamic studies. The paper also surveys the history of the analyses of the Qur'anic text from the point of view of internal similarity. The ending section reports the results of an experiment in automatic computatoin of similarity according to the graphemic/phonemic distance of text of couples of Qur'anic verses.

Abstract
The paper subject focuses on the internal structure of the Qur'anic text, which has been traditionally regarded as lacking of inconsistent by studies based on classical rhetorics, but which is read according to specific rhetoric principles, based on the internal similarity of the text, by both the Arab-Islamic tradition and a more recent research trend within Islamic studies. The paper also surveys the history of the analyses of the Qur'anic text from the point of view of internal similarity. The ending section reports the results of an experiment in automatic computatoin of similarity according to the graphemic/phonemic distance of text of couples of Qur'anic verses.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
