Luftschiff Zeppelin

Space includes a function (content) that cannot exist without form itself, since it is both the main cause and the concluding effect, manifestation of the form to which it is indissolubly linked. The Zeppelin represents a beauty that is not limited to aesthetic aspects but attributes an enigmatic value to reality, and contrary to much contemporary architecture it does not reduce form (or shapelessness) to an ideal fetish.

Lo spazio accoglie una funzione (il contenuto) che non può esistere senza la forma stessa, essendone contemporaneamente la causa principale e l’effetto conclusivo, manifestazione della forma alla quale è indissolubilmente legato. Lo Zeppelin, che restituisce una bellezza che non si limita agli aspetti estetici ma attribuisce al contenuto un valore enigmatico del reale, al contrario di molta dell’architettura contemporanea non riduce la forma a un feticcio ideale.
