Paul Gauthier e la povertà della chiesa durante il Vaticano II. La faticosa ricerca di un consenso

During Vatican II, the group of the Collegio Belga, interested in exploring the theme of poverty in the church, adopted, especially during the intersessions, a strategy for communication and connection that was coordinated by the French priest Paul Gauthier. Based on the analysis of those strategies we can fully understand the experience of the group and the scope of the debate on poverty. This paper offers an overview of new useful sources to reconstruct the extent of the network of contacts beyond the end of the council until the early 1970s.
