L’historiographie politique de l’Italie républicaine

The article proposes a survey on the history of republican Italy, through a comparison with the studies and the steps of searches of a new history of the politics. The end of the cold war and the crisis of the The First Republic (1990 -1994, have provoked a different approach, with a passage from the image of the "Republic of the parties" to a richer and plural history of the politics in the years of the Republic. Contesting the idea of an "anomaly", it places the history of Italy of the second postwar period in the context of the crisis of the model of traditional politics (the State, the parties) in the western societies, with to emerge the opinion democracy based on the mass communications.
