This analysis of two emblematic figures of Balzacian affabulation, the usurer and the banker, aims to elaborate the hypothesis that money is not an object of representation in which socio-politcal reality is reflected, but a principle of symbolisation and a specific form of auto-reflexivity where the narrative process calls into question the transformation of the relationship with truth.

Abstract
This analysis of two emblematic figures of Balzacian affabulation, the usurer and the banker, aims to elaborate the hypothesis that money is not an object of representation in which socio-politcal reality is reflected, but a principle of symbolisation and a specific form of auto-reflexivity where the narrative process calls into question the transformation of the relationship with truth.File in questo prodotto:
