PENSIERI UMANI E INTELLIGENZE ARTIFICIALI: LA SFIDA DELL’APPRENDIMENTO

In this article the author proposes to analyze the development of Artificial Intelligence, understood in the different forms with which it presents itself today and potentially puts itself at the service of people. Alongside this first aspect, we examine in depth some of the issues that are affecting the discussions and reflections concerning the risks, together with the opportunities, deriving from the application and implementation of digital systems. At a second level we highlight the ways in which a machine can extend its functions by learning from the surrounding environment.

In questo articolo l'autore si propone di analizzare lo sviluppo dell’Intelligenza Artificiale, intesa nelle diverse forme con le quali si presenta oggi e, potenzialmente, si mette al servizio dell’uomo. Accanto a questo primo aspetto, si approfondiscono alcune delle tematiche che stanno interessando le discussioni e le riflessioni inerenti i rischi, unitamente alle opportunità, derivanti dall’applicazione e dalla attuazione di sistemi digitali. Ad un secondo livello si evidenziano le modalità con cui una macchina può estendere le sue funzioni apprendendo dall’ambiente circostante.
