The article comes from a study for the proposal of an educational laboratory within the Nordic summer school at TUAS in Finland. The laboratory is proposed as a training activity to improve transversal skills. Through the presentation of the paideia, as a foundational pedagogical model of the pedagogical tradition, we propose the commentary of related passages, in order to explore the possibilities of stimulating educational practices, as well as citizenship education.

Abstract
