From the position of subject researcher in Discourse Analysis, and starting from the ongoing experience of building up a virtual audiovisual Encyclopedia, whose purpose is to produce and circulate video-recordings on Discourse Analysis and related areas, the objective of this work is not only to present the theoretical background to the construction of the technical-digital device that supports the Encyclopedia but also to problematize this practice that aims at the circulation of knowledge through the Internet. It is necessary to theorize about the production process as a tool that puts into circulation knowledge produced by the Human Sciences in Brazilian Portuguese with subtitles.
