The contribution provides a first analysis of the data that emerged from a survey carried out in Italy and abroad, aimed at detecting changes in family relationships in the period of the first lockdown due to Covid 19. A questionnaire was circulated. The areas of investigation concerned internal communication within the family, change of and respect for domestic rules, the perception of the situation by adults and children, with a total of 70 multiple-choice and open-ended questions. The amount of information obtained from the survey still requires a lot of work, but the perception of family dimension of living the emergency, among those who answered our questionnaire, has revealed relational resourcefulness that pedagogy must learn to appreciate and strengthen.
