Nuova luce sulla poesia e il teatro a Roma nel primo Cinquecento

The paper focuses on two recent collections of essays dedicated to the vernacular lyric poetry and to the plays and dramas produced in Rome in the first quarter of the Sixteenth century. These decades were a fruitful season for the literary landscape of the city: in the first quarter of the Sixteenth century Rome was a center of production rich in innovative programs, which offered writers from all over Italy a stimulating scene and a plurality of artistic options.

La nota si sofferma su due recenti raccolte di saggi dedicate alla produzione lirica volgare e teatrale a Roma nel primo quarto del Cinquecento, periodo che ha costituito una stagione feconda per il panorama letterario della città. In quel periodo, infatti, Roma costituisce un centro di produzione ricco di proposte e di innovazioni, che offre ai letterati giunti da ogni parte d’Italia una scena stimolante e una pluralità di opzioni artistiche.
