Letture aumentate, fra rete e intermedialità

The article focuses on ‘augmented reading’, that is the process of deepening and widening the reading of a text – regardless of the nature of its format and the reading medium used, be it print or digital –through the consultation, on the reader’s side, of materials, contents and information resources available online, no matter their nature. In the first part of the article, the author briefly analyzes the relationship between augmented reading and text analysis, focusing on the concepts of intertextuality and intermediality. The second part of the article illustrates two examples of augmented reading, both taken from the novel The black cloud, published in 1957 by the English astrophysicist and cosmologist Fred Hoyle (1915-2001).saggietestimonianze60920Cfr. L’articolo affronta il tema della ‘lettura aumentata’, intesa come operazione di approfondimento e allargamento della lettura di un testo – indipendentemente dalla natura del testo e dal supporto di lettura utilizzato, cartaceo o digitale – attraverso la consultazione, da parte di chi legge, di materiali, contenuti e risorse informative, di qualunque natura, disponibili online. Nella prima parte dell’articolo, l’autore analizza brevemente il rapporto fra lettura aumentata e analisi del testo, con particolare riferimento ai concetti di intertestualità e intermedialità. La seconda parte dell'articolo illustra invece due esempi di lettura aumentata, entrambi tratti dal romanzo The Black Cloud, pubblicato nel 1957 dall’astrofisico e cosmologo inglese Fred Hoyle (1915-2001).
