Il recente progetto dello studio Mayslits Kassif Roytman Architects è espressione di una sensibilità maturata nei secoli per il trattamento e l’utilizzo delle risorse idriche, esempio virtuoso, intelligente e consapevole di come l’acqua si inserisce nel disegno del paesaggio pubblico: lo spazio aperto di Petach Lake diventa lago artificiale che è sia specchio d’acqua, ma anche dispositivo di fitodepurazione delle acque provenienti dalla falda sotterranea. Il progetto prevede anche un sistema di sentieri galleggianti che si snodano in modo organico attraverso e intorno al lago, consentendo l’esplorazione da vicino dell’ecosistema lacustre. The recent project by Mayslits Kassif Roytman Architects studio is the expression of a sensitivity matured over the centuries for the treatment and use of water resources, a virtuous, intelligent and aware example of how water fits into the design of the public landscape: the open space of Petach Lake becomes an artificial lake which is both a mirror of water, but also a phytoremediation device for the water coming from the underground aquifer. The project also includes a system of floating paths that wind organically through and around the lake, allowing a close-up exploration of the lake ecosystem.
