In this work, the educational value that the body has in motor and sports activities will be presented starting from the concept of metaphor and nature, analyzing the cathartic elements but also the many cracks that are undermined within today’s society. The maximum expression of the body as a metaphor was witnessed at the Tokyo Olympics, where the athletes had to face lights and shadows in a highly competitive way. Nature could come to the aid of an ever more ephemeral humanism linked only to profit and consumption values. It is necessary to know how to observe and perceive oneself, also enclosed in mental images and deciphered in metaphors, so as to become a reflective device capable of originating changes.
