The article deals with the question of the meaning and the relationship that the body has with the world of education, in this socio-cultural context. It starts from the acknowledgment that we are facing a future that changes suddenly, made up of perfect images and virtual reality. We therefore ask ourselves how nature can interact with us, immerged in this context, relocating time and space, and placing human beings at the center, as subjects in harmony with creation. After a first part, in which a philosophical reflection is elaborated on what it means, for human beings, to be “body”, the article is dedicated to analyzing the power that play has in developmental age to make children discover nature. and the surrounding world. Our body communicates and we can convey thoughts, emotions and feelings. The sensory-motor play, it allows children to enrich their motor and linguistic vocabulary, get to know their companions and rules, developing their sensory-motor, perceptual, affective, constructive and expressive skills in a continuous work of structuring and deconstructing.
