INTERVENTI SULLE FACCIATE: I RISCHI DELL'IMPROWISAZIONE, I VANTAGGI DELLA PREPARAZIONE

In 2019 in ltaly strong tax relieves were introduced in arder to incentivize the interventions on the façades in the city ond town centres. Despite the good intentions, many limits con be observed analyzing both the normative formulation and its actual application to historic buildings. The main aim of the law, indeed, is fighting the urban decay through merely aesthetic and surface approaches, regardless of the matter that constitutes these surfaces and of the indivisibility of the architectural assets. This opproach, together with the time limits imposed by the tax relief, resulted in partial and improvised interventions with negative effects on the conservation of historically stratified façades. The only possible solution to this problem is the preparedness of the professionals and operators, fostering the knowledge and the comprehension of the complexity of our built heritage.
