La Generazione Z di fronte all’estremismo violento: un’indagine tra le studentesse e gli studenti superiori di Udine

The article presents the results of the project “Comprendere la radicalizzazione: strumenti e metodi per individuare i primi segni di radicalizzazione all’interno delle scuole del Friuli Venezia Giulia”: it was conducted in winter-spring 2022. The aim of the project was to investigate whether the drivers of extremist radicalisation highlighted in the literature are valid for the Generation Z and whether young people are more or less receptive to messages and narratives from political extremist circles. The results reveal that the penetration of a “conspiracy mentality” is a very signifi cant cognitive and cultural driver in radicalisation processes involving Generation Z.
