La narrazione come strumento di formazione: tra fiaba e albo illustrato.

Narration, in its oral and written form, constitutes one of the earliest and most frequent experiences in an individual’s life. Stories represent for children one of the privileged tools for linguistic development and knowledge of the world. The skills that oral or written narration requires to be embodied in a single subject that lends itself to action, qualifies narrative knowledge as a possible tool for education, in the pro per sense of a bildung. The paper also attempts to investigate this subject through specific reference to two narrative forms such as the fairy tale and the picture book, which more than others are linked to childhood and its path of growth and care.

La narrazione nella sua forma orale e scritta, costituisce una delle esperienze più precoci e più frequenti nella vita di un individuo. Le storie rappresentano per il bambino uno degli strumenti privilegiati per lo sviluppo linguistico e per la conoscenza del mondo. Le competenze che la narrazione orale o scritta richiede siano incarnate in un unico oggetto che si presta all’azione, qualifica il sapere narrativo come possibile strumento di formazione, nel senso proprio di bildung. L’articolo prova a indagare questo tema anche attraverso il riferimento specifico a due forme narrative quali la fiaba e l’albo illustrato che più di altre si legano all’infanzia e al suo percorso di crescita e di cura.
