Un casale a Moncalvo nel paesaggio del Monferrato

The farm house is located in Asti’s countryside, marked by the presence of vineyards and hazelnut groves. The building is formed by the union of a two-story construction with a three-story one. Originally dedicated to agricultural purposes, the farm house has been gradually modified towards a mainly residential use. The intervention is arranged to obtain the complete renovation of the rural house and its land property in order to turn the modest abode into a country estate. The landscaping of the garden is achieved by the repartition of the slope among different levels connected by a new system of paths: the house courtyard, the swimming pool parterre, and the orchard. The character of each part of the garden is defined by the use of distinctive types of plants.
