Metaverse and digital twin are technologies that seem to magnify a number of legal problems that already char-acterize digital constitutionalism. Law must address the regulation of the metaverse as the deployment of web 4.0 is upon us: the fourth generation of the World Wide Web, which, using advanced artificial and environmental intelligence, the Internet of Things, trusted blockchain transactions, virtual worlds, and XR capabilities, allows digital and real objects and environments to fully integrate and communicate with each other; it promises to ena-ble truly intuitive and immersive experiences, seamlessly merging the physical and digital worlds. Starting with an examination of the frontiers of research in these areas, the essay aims to examine the effects of the use of these new technologies on fundamental rights.

Starting with an examination of the frontiers of research in these areas, the essay aims to examine the effects of the use of these new technologies on fundamental rights.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
