The contribution focuses on hate speech and manifestations of violence, highlighting the urgency of adequate pedagogical and educational responses in a complex and unpredictable social context. Fromthis perspective, the authors analyse how hatred and violence, also spread through digital platforms and with onlife manifestations, affect not only society, but also school environments, making educational responses essential. These responses must include the promotion of a new language and different forms of communication. It is the school that plays a key role in setting up a space for inclusion and dialogue. Despite punitive measures, it is necessary to support preventive actions to educate to respect and value differences. Ultimately, it highlights the need for a pedagogy of encounter, based on languages and practices capable of opposing the spread of hate, in a time when the boundaries between online and offline are increasingly blurred.
l contributo si sofferma sugli hate speech e le manifestazioni di violenza, mettendo in luce l’urgenza di risposte pedagogiche ed educative adeguate, in un contesto sociale complesso e imprevedibile. In questa prospettiva, gli autori analizzano come l'odio e la violenza, diffusi anche attraverso le piattaforme digitali e con manifestazioni onlife, colpiscano non solo la società nel suo insieme, ma anche gli ambienti scolastici, rendendo indispensabile le risposte educative che passano pure attraverso la promozione di un nuovo linguaggio e di diverse forme comunicative. È la scuola a svolgere un ruolo chiave nell’allestire uno spazio di inclusione e dialogo. A dispetto di misure punitive, occorre sostenere azioni preventive per educare al rispetto e alla valorizzazione delle differenze. In definitiva si evidenzia la necessità di una pedagogia dell’incontro, basata su linguaggi e pratiche capaci di opporsi alla diffusione dell’odio, in un tempo in cui i confini tra online e offline sono sempre più sfumati.
