This essay deals with the study of the “dilated” University carried out by Ennio Flaiano in some journalistic writings, inspired by the narration of the contradictions which mark the Italian society during the economic boom. Flaiano utters a biting criticism of the social habits of his time, marked by the research of a identity dimension made complex and ambitious by the advent of cinema and television. The writer criticizes both the cultural and educational actors. Thus, he can outline the limits of the educational action supported by the Universities by means of the new interactional and productive scenarios enhanced by post-modernity, described with sarcasm by the antiphrastic cantor of the Italian sweet life.

Abstract
This essay deals with the study of the “dilated” University carried out by Ennio Flaiano in some journalistic writings, inspired by the narration of the contradictions which mark the Italian society during the economic boom. Flaiano utters a biting criticism of the social habits of his time, marked by the research of a identity dimension made complex and ambitious by the advent of cinema and television. The writer criticizes both the cultural and educational actors. Thus, he can outline the limits of the educational action supported by the Universities by means of the new interactional and productive scenarios enhanced by post-modernity, described with sarcasm by the antiphrastic cantor of the Italian sweet life.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
