The article aims to analyze the experimental practices, video-artistic and Internet cultures that the Italian experience of the 21st century has produced by reconfiguring the notion of landscape, extending it and contaminating it with hypermedia forms, in which concepts such as media environment, interface, screenscape, digitally networked bubbles. Initially the essay examines the current theoretical framework of these elaborations, then it will trace historical-critical paths in the context of contemporary Italian audiovisual experimentation, recognizing characteristic elements and motifs: the significant relationship with technology (Fabrizio Plessi, Studio Azzurro, Flatform, Giuliana Cunéaz), the space as a place of performative action (Zimmerfrei, Stalker, Ilaria Di Carlo, Rä di Martino, Grazia Toderi, Yuri Ancarani), the relationship with the memory of places (Anna Marziano, Mauro Santini, Cosimo Terlizzi, Virginia Eleuteri Serpieri, Martina Melilli), the comparison with the representative logics of surveillance (Ogino:Knauss, Mylicon/EN, Alterazioni Video), the definition of an augmented landscape through the use of animated and computer techniques (Gianluca Abbate, Francesca Fini, Davide Quayola, Ruben Frosali, Marco Cadioli, Silvia De Gennaro, Carlo Zanni, Chiara Passa).

Abstract
The article aims to analyze the experimental practices, video-artistic and Internet cultures that the Italian experience of the 21st century has produced by reconfiguring the notion of landscape, extending it and contaminating it with hypermedia forms, in which concepts such as media environment, interface, screenscape, digitally networked bubbles. Initially the essay examines the current theoretical framework of these elaborations, then it will trace historical-critical paths in the context of contemporary Italian audiovisual experimentation, recognizing characteristic elements and motifs: the significant relationship with technology (Fabrizio Plessi, Studio Azzurro, Flatform, Giuliana Cunéaz), the space as a place of performative action (Zimmerfrei, Stalker, Ilaria Di Carlo, Rä di Martino, Grazia Toderi, Yuri Ancarani), the relationship with the memory of places (Anna Marziano, Mauro Santini, Cosimo Terlizzi, Virginia Eleuteri Serpieri, Martina Melilli), the comparison with the representative logics of surveillance (Ogino:Knauss, Mylicon/EN, Alterazioni Video), the definition of an augmented landscape through the use of animated and computer techniques (Gianluca Abbate, Francesca Fini, Davide Quayola, Ruben Frosali, Marco Cadioli, Silvia De Gennaro, Carlo Zanni, Chiara Passa).I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
