Daxing Green Hub and Park

"Nature is an idea" is the motto of the BAM Ballistic Architecture Machine studio. The park created in Beijing's new Daxing district, with its riot of geometries, colours, materials and settings, is a project manifesto: a phantasmagorical park that, with its skilful and ironic excesses, reminds us of the importance of the garden as a laboratory for landscape experimentation, where any distinction between nature and artifice is dissolved and where we can intercept and question the images of our own time.

“La natura è un’idea” è il motto dello studio BAM Ballistic Architecture Machine. Il parco realizzato a Pechino, nel nuovo quartiere di Daxing, con il suo tripudio di geometrie, colori, materiali e ambientazioni, ne è un progetto-manifesto: un parco fantasmagorico che, con i suoi eccessi sapienti e ironici, ricorda l’importanza del giardino come laboratorio di sperimentazione paesaggistica, dove ogni distinzione tra natura e artificio si dissolve e dove poter intercettare e interrogare gli immaginari del proprio tempo.
