This study aims to define various hypotheses and theories that interconnect the economy and environment from an integrated sustainability perspective. It identifies the most prominent perspectives on the economy-environment nexus, including the Environmental Kuznets Curve Hypothesis, Pollution Haven Hypothesis, Pollution Halo Hypothesis, Environmental Load Displacement, Resource Curse Hypothesis, Circular Economy, Doughnut Economics, Porter Hypothesis, Green Solow Growth, Jevons Paradox, and Treadmill of Production Theory. For each, the paper offers a unique definition and explains them using various graphs. By distinguishing their similarities, it establishes a comprehensive framework to analyze the multifaceted interactions between the economy and environment. This framework enables researchers to evaluate their data more effectively, contributing meaningfully to the literature on the economy-environment relationship.

Abstract
This framework enables researchers to evaluate their data more effectively, contributing meaningfully to the literature on the economy-environment relationship.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
