Maffeo Pantaleoni (1857-1924) maintained that the liberal State should be based on general, universal norms, therefore rejecting those aimed at taking care of special interests. This view was not incompatible with the expansion of the scope of the government. However, the actual government intervention that took place in Italy made him aware of the necessity of restoring a classical, liberal state, which he saw as possible with the advent of Fascism.

Abstract
Maffeo Pantaleoni (1857-1924) maintained that the liberal State should be based on general, universal norms, therefore rejecting those aimed at taking care of special interests. This view was not incompatible with the expansion of the scope of the government. However, the actual government intervention that took place in Italy made him aware of the necessity of restoring a classical, liberal state, which he saw as possible with the advent of Fascism.File in questo prodotto:
