Intelligenza, uomo e umano nell'era digitale

In this era, the evolution of technology driven by man has brought both successes and distortions. Thus, in the name of progress and its frontiers, man is forced to reckon with an ever-faster time that ends up depriving him of his peculiar dimensions. Through his pursuit of well-being and comfort, man has chosen to entrust an ever-increasing number of functions to technology to the point of even giving it its intelligence which for centuries has distinguished its uniqueness. This article seeks to critically reflect on the relationship between man and his recent creations, inter alia, comparing certain characteristics of artificial intelligence and human intelligence. The path outlined asks where the subject lies and whether the human element in man can be found in the act of thinking or in the ability to ask questions and critically observe reality.

In quest’epoca l’evoluzione della tecnica generata dall’uomo gli ha consegnato sia successi che distorsioni. Di conseguenza, in nome del progresso e delle sue frontiere, l’essere umano è costretto a fare i conti con un tempo sempre più rapido che finisce per privarlo delle sue dimensioni peculiari. Così, con un fare orientato alla ricerca del benessere e della comodità, l’individuo ha scelto di affidare alla tecnologia una quantità di funzioni sempre maggiore, arrivando a consegnarle addirittura la sua intelligenza, facoltà che per secoli, ne ha contraddistinto l’unicità. In questo articolo si vuole riflettere criticamente sul rapporto tra l’uomo e le sue recenti creazioni, mettendo in relazione alcune caratteristiche dell’intelligenza artificiale e dell’intelligenza umana. Riflettendo su tutto ciò, ci si vuole chiedere quale posizione occupi il soggetto e se quanto di umano è in lui si possa rintracciare anche nel suo atto del pensare o nella sua capacità di porre interrogativi ed osservare criticamente la realtà.
