The paper examines the concept of ‘Body without Organs’ in Deleuze and Guattari’s work, tracing its evolution from The Logic of Sense and The Anti-Oedipus to A Thousand Plateaus. The author explores how this concept challenges traditional psychoanalytic notions of the unconscious, proposing instead a machinic, desiring unconscious that resists normalization. The Body without Organs is presented as a limit-experience that deconstructs the organized body, revealing desire as a productive force rather than a lack. Through analysis of Deleuze and Guattari’s notion of schizophrenia, the paper investigates practices of corporeal experimentation that suspend habitual bodily organization, opening possibilities for new modes of subjectivity and existence beyond normative structures.
