A study involving high power trans- mission line components is presented. First, a combiner/splitter mode converter to maximize the power transfer capability of the transmission line, has been deeply analyzed. We demonstrate the in- ecaciousness of such component, forcing the trans- mission line system to be designed in oversized rect- angular waveguides with apposite mode lters atten- uating non-fundamental modes. Further, the design of bends has been considered, minimizing the power dispersion and the excitation of higher order modes.
