Abstract
In this study, an educational tool has been prepared for a shorter term and more economic education of power electronics circuits. Virtual instruments and distributed systems are of great interest to create advanced and flexible teaching and experimentation environments for measurement technologies at limited costs. Virtual instrumentation is defined as the combination of measurement and control hardware and application software with industry-standard computer Technology to create user-defined instrumentation systems. Computer-aided laboratory exercises based on the LabVIEW system are efficiently used on the topic of power electronic systems. The paper presents the application mentioned virtual instrument system in the education of Buck type DC/DC converter. Its main application is in regulated dc power supplies through the control of few parameters, which are driven by the LabVIEW virtual interface built up on a computer. NI myDAQ propose a cheap USB solution as a driver interface for the buck converter, and leads the students to explore and explain the behavior of buck circuit in the many different stages. -I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
