Archeology, History and Nature: the environmental requalification of BagnoVignoni: from representation to implementation The environmental system of BagnoVignoni is quite articulated and its composing elements are well defined: from the inhabited center and its hydraulic equipment to the installations for extraction (on the two sides of town) and the Orcia river (which is almost an element used to reconnect the two poles together), to the territory and its mountains and valleys. We need to give this place a face that does not only and synthetically express the ancient and current values of the surroundings. We need to express the peculiar way needed to interpret these values for the new years to come; according to the sensibility and culture of our times... a culture that is more and more multidisciplinary and therefore more complex and integrated. The project of this area is conceived to evoke strong and immediate suggestions. It is also designed to communicate news, transmit information and stimulate the desire to go in-depth and to learn more. The analysis design, or the representation of the project’s ideas were the instruments used to investigate and to communicate during the developmental phases of the project and - subsequently - for the dissemination and approval of the requalification intervention on an international level. The need to intervene on the rediscovery of the historical values and on the importance of archaeological development has led the analysis and planning phases of the interventions in a very precise direction: a natural and almost spontaneous direction considering the previous environmental conditions. A direction towards the knowledge and approval of little truths that have determined the entire framework of the intervention.

Abstract
A direction towards the knowledge and approval of little truths that have determined the entire framework of the intervention.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
