Abstract
This paper deals with the combined problem of assignment and control and presents comparative tests between conventional and non conventional signal control policies to allow an evaluation of traffic management methods. Under some assumptions on the control phase, analytical expressions of green splits are determined. By means of the implementation of two well known problem formulations, network performances results are illustrated. In the corresponding algorithms signal approach capacity constraint is implicitly applied for avoiding both analytical troubles in the computation of green splits and not supply feasible solutionsI documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
