This paper is an analysis of right-headed [N+V]V formations of Ancent Greek (cf. paidopoiéō) from a typological point of view. Like incorporations in polysinthetic languages, these verbs express states of affairs that are relevant for the society, and they are used in the information structure. Therefore the functions of incorporation in a fusional language are the same than in polysinthetic ones.

Abstract
This paper is an analysis of right-headed [N+V]V formations of Ancent Greek (cf. paidopoiéō) from a typological point of view. Like incorporations in polysinthetic languages, these verbs express states of affairs that are relevant for the society, and they are used in the information structure. Therefore the functions of incorporation in a fusional language are the same than in polysinthetic ones.File in questo prodotto:
