"Based on the evidence that a wide array of technologies have been developed and applied to the cultural sector, our research investigates the relationship between the technological frontier and the Museums. A unique model has been identified to classify the cultural heritage technologies and a clear understanding whether those technologies impact positively on museums has not yet been reached. Thus, in this paper we offer a classification of the Museums purposes and of the available technologies and posit whether the museums with a traditionalist approach express a general favour towards those technologies."

Abstract
"Based on the evidence that a wide array of technologies have been developed and applied to the cultural sector, our research investigates the relationship between the technological frontier and the Museums. A unique model has been identified to classify the cultural heritage technologies and a clear understanding whether those technologies impact positively on museums has not yet been reached. Thus, in this paper we offer a classification of the Museums purposes and of the available technologies and posit whether the museums with a traditionalist approach express a general favour towards those technologies."I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
