In carbonate Apennines, transitional zones play a leading role in any attempt to reconstruct the original relations between platforms and adjacent basins, and in general the geodynamic evolution of wide areas. In Central Apennines, a detailed field mapping was made in the central-southern sector of the Prenestini Mts. where, in a limited area, Mesozoic and Tertiary transitional successions are well exposed.

Abstract
In carbonate Apennines, transitional zones play a leading role in any attempt to reconstruct the original relations between platforms and adjacent basins, and in general the geodynamic evolution of wide areas. In Central Apennines, a detailed field mapping was made in the central-southern sector of the Prenestini Mts. where, in a limited area, Mesozoic and Tertiary transitional successions are well exposed.File in questo prodotto:
