Abstract

"In this contribution, we theoretically and numerically show that the operation bandwidth of an electrically small SRR loaded monopole antenna can be improved by using non-Foster active elements connected to the external gap of the SRR. The circuit implementation of the required non-Foster load in the VHF frequency band, as well as the stability analysis of the whole active component are also presented and discussed."
