Multimedia and didactic implementation: new perspectives on e.learning improvement

"\"This note is rooted in the humus of the “Multimedia Innovations in professional adults training processes on e-learning platform”. The project, as an experimental field, is based on the Moodle platform employed in the Degree Course in Sciences of Education FAD, University Roma Tre, Rome, Italy. It concerns the building of trainin paths for the full utilization of the e-learning potential through the implementation of multimedia teaching materials and the related didactic activities and forms of on-going evaluation. The aim of the project is to demonstrate that students who participate in the educational activities and interaction can achieve an improvement in learning in a meta-cognitive sense. In order to prove our assumption, students have been split into two groups: whether they have joined the didactic activities (I group) or not (II group), resampling techniques (bootstrap) have been applied to estimate the students’ performances. Although experimenting is in progress, there is statistical evidence that, on average, students of the first group achieve a better performance at the final exam. \""
