The drawing is a tool useful for centuries to express the subjective I of each individual. For a long time the expressiveness of drawings was not limited to artistic, but also widened to architectural drawings that had strong characterizations strictly related to the Architect personality. However this form of expression is losing more and more strength and value, in spite of a sterile rigor of digital drawings, all equal and consequent to established rules. In this analysis of the graphical representation, which unites past, present and future, we investigate the expressive potential that we nd in old drawings and also report to the digital graphic representation.

Abstract
The drawing is a tool useful for centuries to express the subjective I of each individual. For a long time the expressiveness of drawings was not limited to artistic, but also widened to architectural drawings that had strong characterizations strictly related to the Architect personality. However this form of expression is losing more and more strength and value, in spite of a sterile rigor of digital drawings, all equal and consequent to established rules. In this analysis of the graphical representation, which unites past, present and future, we investigate the expressive potential that we nd in old drawings and also report to the digital graphic representation.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
