In the paper two different experiences and case studies on the mapping of ancient cities, Iasos and Antinoupolis: two works-in-progress, with a different degree of advancement are illustrated. Iasos and Antinoupolis are very different sites from many points of view: not only for their location and topographical situation (Iasos is in Asia Minor, Antinoupolis in Egypt), not only for their own history and their history of the research, but – among others – because of the different technical possibilities today usable in these modern countries.

Abstract
In the paper two different experiences and case studies on the mapping of ancient cities, Iasos and Antinoupolis: two works-in-progress, with a different degree of advancement are illustrated. Iasos and Antinoupolis are very different sites from many points of view: not only for their location and topographical situation (Iasos is in Asia Minor, Antinoupolis in Egypt), not only for their own history and their history of the research, but – among others – because of the different technical possibilities today usable in these modern countries.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
