In this paper a simple method is presented to remove any ambiguity arising in the phase constant of Bloch modes in 1D-periodic structures recovered from simulations of a finite number of unit cells. Two reference structures are analyzed through a commercial software and their dispersive properties are correctly reconstructed as predicted from the theoretical background presented.

Abstract
In this paper a simple method is presented to remove any ambiguity arising in the phase constant of Bloch modes in 1D-periodic structures recovered from simulations of a finite number of unit cells. Two reference structures are analyzed through a commercial software and their dispersive properties are correctly reconstructed as predicted from the theoretical background presented.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
