The radiation features of a wire-medium loaded Fabry-Perot cavity antenna (FPCA) are presented. The Green’s function of the structure is derived by means of an effective equivalent transmission-line model recently proposed by the authors. The capability to suppress the undesired contribution of the quasi-TEM mode propagating inside the structure is demonstrated and the adiation efficiency of the proposed antenna is evaluated.

Abstract
The radiation features of a wire-medium loaded Fabry-Perot cavity antenna (FPCA) are presented. The Green’s function of the structure is derived by means of an effective equivalent transmission-line model recently proposed by the authors. The capability to suppress the undesired contribution of the quasi-TEM mode propagating inside the structure is demonstrated and the adiation efficiency of the proposed antenna is evaluated.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
