In literature there is poor reference about the human bone marrow viscous behavior. To give a contribution in this field, a rheometer prototype has been developed for the viscosity measurement of biological fluids with limited availability. In this work it has been used to measure the viscosity of standard fluids at different temperatures to test the system stability. The results show that the device is able to follow the temperature viscosity variation in the tested fluids with a measurement uncertainty from 1.7 cP up to 9 cP between 26.5°C and 40°C respectively for 4.8 cP and 98 cP viscosity value of the standard fluid. Moreover, a systematic behavior of the system to measure a viscosity value lower than the nominal has been identified.
