The term "electromagnetic cloaking"refers to a wide class of approaches whose aim is reducing the total scattering cross section of an object within a desired range of frequencies. In the last years, the use of electromagnetic cloaking for antennas have been widely investigated and several unprecedented effects have been proven. Just to cite a few examples, it has been shown that cloaking allows designing low-scattering receiving antennas [1] and overcoming the blockage and mutual coupling effects occurring between transmitting antennas in overcrowded telecommunication platforms [2].
