Starting from a theoretical recognition on media operativity and performativity in the contemporary scenario, this article focuses on the daily use of interactive digital media following an ecological perspective, that is considering contemporary screen media and online platforms as environments. Moving from these conditions, it will be examined what strategies could be suitable for raising the degree of narrative and design skills in younger generations within interactive online environments. To this end, three potentially useful operational models for media literacy activities are identified and analysed: the interactive documentary, the social media narrative, and the desktop cinema.

Abstract
Starting from a theoretical recognition on media operativity and performativity in the contemporary scenario, this article focuses on the daily use of interactive digital media following an ecological perspective, that is considering contemporary screen media and online platforms as environments. Moving from these conditions, it will be examined what strategies could be suitable for raising the degree of narrative and design skills in younger generations within interactive online environments. To this end, three potentially useful operational models for media literacy activities are identified and analysed: the interactive documentary, the social media narrative, and the desktop cinema.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
