Gli investimenti per l’accessibilità materiale e immateriale nei luoghi a destinazione culturale nel PNRR

The topic of material and immaterial accessibility, in which the complex issue of dis- abilities is articulated, is the subject of deep reflection in contemporary society that – constantly – must be able to measure itself up to today’s developments and collective challenges. Crosswise actions for human well-being and environmental protection, such as cultural heritage education, are well framed in the 2030 Agenda. At the Italian level, these reflections have impacts on socio-economic recovery strategy, which the National Resilience and Recovery Plan (NRRP) identifies as a priority to improve territorial co- hesion, aid economic growth, and overcome inequalities. Accessibility to the cultural heritage, in this sense, is part of the first mission of the NRRP. The magnitude of the investment, amounting to 300 million euros, is applied in interventions related to the museum use of public and private institutions and, also, public institutions do not belong to the Ministry of Culture (MiC). With reference to the tools capable of supporting design proposals that, in various ways, develop actions aimed at the physical, sensorial, and cognitive accessibility of spaces by all potential users, the contribution interprets what has been traced up to date through a systematic reading of the resources being assigned for cultural destination places. Spaces where the dualism between the material and the immaterial – the latter understood as a knowledge transfer technology – is particularly evident.
