Abstract
The E42 project transformed a barren and deserted part of the Roman countryside into a “dazzling emerald mass”. When the work was abandoned in 1943, the buildings were still unfinished, while the trees had already been planted and influenced the later urban plan for the EUR “città-parco”. The research aims to investigate the reasons, features and urban role of the green system in the E42 plan and in the construction of the district in order to provide a new key to understanding EUR’s heritage.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
