The paper presents the experimentation of analytical and operational behavior models, conducted with the support of digital culture, aimed at the proactive management of the repertoire of knowledge data specific to the practice of planned conservation. The presented experiments concern research projects developed with funding from Roma Tre University and the Lazio Region assigned to the Department of Architecture through competitive calls (DynASK and INT4CT). These scientific activities have two main purposes: to develop a methodology useful for enhancing the potential of digital management of large collections of heterogeneous information from investigations carried out on direct historical sources (surveys) and indirect sources (bibliographical, archival, cartographic and iconographic documents) and to produce the necessary knowledge and interpretative syntheses for the conservation design of broad-spectrum initiatives, also marked by a preventive approach to environmental risks. The digital products of the Dynamic Atlas DynASK and its INT4CT application aim to refine the analysis criteria of the territory, the city, and the building heritage, in a significant part of Rome and its metropolitan area, for conservation and enhancement of the historical urban landscape.
